Any projected changes to the Manix?

I'm looking over my Manix at the moment, and I really can't think of anything that would increase functionality by a noticeable degree.

The only aspect I have a small issue with is the feel of the clip under heavy use, but this can easily be resolved by removing the clip, contouring the edges, or installing a custom clip, which I intend to do.

Asides, I'm entertaining thoughts of buying another, and replacing the backspacer with titanium and maybe the liners with solid titanium as well. Maybe replace the clip screws with Torx screws. Maybe even increase the size of the pivot screw, although I doubt it'll serve any noticeable purpose. Possibly add fullers to the upper portion of the blade to reduce weight even further, and chamfer the scales more.

I dunno, this is my ideal large folder at the moment. Very nicely done by Spyderco, but it sort of kills my need for any other large-ish folder unless I want a prybar-esque knife, like an Extrema Ratio.

Oh! Unless Spyderco comes out with some crazy limited run. Yeah. That'd be awesome. :D

They plan on making a 80mm version of the Manix, a Mini Manix if you will. Aside from that, no plans that I know of.

there is a knife store on the net that will add serrations to any knife for a great price. I cant remember the name of it, but if you do a search you should beable to find it. From what I have seen, they do a great job. :)
