I've hit about a dozen dead ends this AM -- website not responding, server too busy, etc. Anybody or is it just me and my antique equipment?

I got on or tried to about 4 a.m. Could not get on & stay on until about 7:45 a.m. I got the same messages you did.

Several users have mentioned the Bondini glue. I haven't found any around here, but we have had really good success at work, & here at the chicken coop with a two part, syringe-type glue we buy in quantity at some of the local auto parts stores. It is called "VersaChem Plastic Welding System." Part #47809. Sets up in 15 minutes. We've used it on acrylic, china, glass, fiberglas, PVC, & wood. It says it will bond to Stainless Steel, Steel, & most other metals. Package does not say it is 'epoxy.' It is tough & the 15 minute set-up time gives me enough time to get clamps in place & etc.:)

Me, too. Not bumped but couldn't get in to the forum about 3 or 4 times. Figured it was the feeding frenzy.
As for the shopping site - As discussed with Uncle by Email, took me an hour of repeated tries, to access. Then when I did get on, was able to get on the Kumar Kobra order site, for a short time before getting knocked off. Couldn't access the other two order sites I wanted to get on. After clicking on the Kumra Kobra, and 'continue shopping' blewie technical error msg from the site.

Easier to contact Uncle by Email, ALTHOUGH, ONLY in case of EMERGENCY, as Uncle would get OVERWHELMED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's probably the late, great "Phantom..." thread, going down kicking and screaming...

I tried to login at 8:00 AM EST and the website didn't even register.

I checked whois.net to see if it had expired, but it looked ok.

Didn't even show up until about 9:30 AM

Weird, eh?

It appears that the format at the end of the pages and threads has changed. Reminds me of netscape. Every time they are supposed to be changing things for the better, it get harder to use.

"Things to look for if you think your house is Haunted

1. Are you hearing strange noises that cant be explained?

2. Are you seeing strange movements out of the corner of your eye? Then turn to look and nothing is there.

3. Are there wierd smells that come from nowhere?

4. Do you feel like your being touched when no one is around?

5. At times do you feel a heavyness or like the air has gotten thicker?

6. Do you hear whispering when no one is around?

7. Are things being moved or disapearing?

8. Are you having strange dreams of people and places you dont know?

9. Have you seen people in your home that suddenly disappear or fade?

10. Are you finding rooms in your home that seem to be much colder?

11. Are lights flickering or turning off and on by themselves?

12. Are you finding doors being opened or closed on their own?

These and other things could be a sign that you might be living in a haunted house"

Cogito ergot sum

As Timothy Leary might have said in the 60's and the heyday of Haight-Ashbury; flower-power, and Woodstock.

Bridget Bishop evidently didn't find the right words to say and was hanged on June 10, 1692, the first to die in the infamous Salem Witch trials.

See:

Or look up:

Ergot/claviceps purpurea

A rye reminder things may not be as they seem. ( Or was it the Diamond Sutra that says that? )

Time for my meds, anyway.

PS: ;) :p :p :p :D

not sure there are meds that can cure what you've got, Rusty...;)
