I have a Todd Begg Steelcraft Kwaiken and a Mini Bodega. Both are excellently made knives. Just to be clear, the Steelcraft series are made for Begg Knives by Reate and WE Knife Company.
Now, onto the knives specifically. If you're a fan of the Begg "ornateness" then go ahead and buy without fear. I have a little problem with my Mini Bodega being too small for my hand, therefor it doesn't get carried that much. If you have average sized hands, I'd suggest considering the Bodega, Field Marshall or Glimpse. The Kwaiken was the first Steelcraft and is a beautifully made knife with great action, but you kinda need to want a Kwaiken to have it work for you. For my daily EDC a kwaiken is a little over the top.
On a more global level there's currently a dispute between Todd Begg himself and the people who run his company. I don't know all the in's and out's but I tend to land on the side of the talent designing the knives in the first place. I think Todd is in the process of trying to start up his own company in Texas after essentially walking away from his existing venture. If you're like me and want to support talented designers, you might want to make sure that current and upcoming Steelcraft offerings are made with the consent and support of the person who designed them.
I don't have the answer, I only know that if I was in the market for a Steelcraft knife today I'd be doing some due diligence.
Good luck and have fun!
