This is probly the wrong forum for this but am i the othe only one being a selfbow archer myself who gets ticked when compound archers say the are "traditional" or "primitive" hunters?

I don't get ticked or mad. I just grin and ask ....

"Oh, Yeah. When did the Apaches invent the wheel?" :D:rolleyes:

Or

"Yep, those English longbow really liked the composite plastic wheels." :D:rolleyes:

Or

"Did the Mongol hoard use Delrin for their horn bows as well?" :D:rolleyes:

I just can't understand why some people call me a smart ass. :D:D:D

Not sure what that has to do with throwing knives, but bow snobbery is silly.

Kinda knife throwing related :p .... arrows are kinda like specialized throwing knives.

They are sharp and pointy (hunting heads ==> hunting knives which are sharp) or just pointy (target points ==> throwing knives which are pointy but not real sharp).

You just use both hands instead of 1 hand.

Arrows are no-spin (end-over-end-wise) and rotational (spin-stabilized) at the same time.

:D:D:D
