anyone see this

WOW! Thats awesome! Do you think he did something to the edge before doing that. I dont even think my Izula will cut the hair off my arm that smoothly and I havent done anywhere near that much work with it. Course that guy looked like he had pretty thick hair.

cool did you see how he stropped it a little on his glove?
just goes to show how easy it is to get a knife back to razor sharp with a little stropping

Great tribute to a great knife!
Nice no BS review also. He did a RC3 review as well.

I just put my rc3 through the paces with my Lansky set and then I steeled it. I went to check the edge and my thumb just sank in. 1095 gets SHARP

I've used mine to open cans before and the edge was just fine afterward. :)

Ha! I liked that video. Just got my Izula in the mail and I can't wait to try it out now!!

Be safe, I was doing something similar to that one night on a much smaller scale, (small 1 x 4) and I ended up slipping and following a groove which led right into my knuckle.

Edit: I just spent 40 minutes cutting a 2 x 2 with an Izula, I wasn't do hard aggressive strokes but controlled cuts all the way around it creating some nice kindling. I wore leather gloves for the first 10 minutes but the seams kept rubbing my knuckles so I went with out them for the last 30. I'm pretty happy with the Izula I didn't notice any hot spots, there is no scratching, and it still has a nice edge on it.

I love that video.... watching the guy I could help but chuckle...
emailed him and said I had 40 4X4 fence posts I needed to sharpen if he wasn't busy next weekend.. :D

Have two coming, one in o.d green for me and a pink one for the wife. She paid for them, said it was my fathers day present.I think I'll keep her!!

If you have any questions about edge retention on the Izula after hard use, this video answers them. How many knives could go through that and still shave the hair on your arm. My guess, not many.
