I'm looking to see if anyone has used the SPyderco/Solo titanium-bladed kithcen knife. I love my regular Santoku, and for $30 this knife looks like a great value, but I would be pretty surprised if Ti works very well in the kitchen. ANy thoughts?

I hope you are still on the web Chiro. I have been trying to e-mail you about the silver wire and it keeps coming back. If you still want some, e-mail me your address and I will send it to you.

Thanks for the heads up on the titanium knife, I'm ordering one today.

I received mine yesterday. Box was so light I figured they forgot to put it in with all the paper! I'll do a proper review later, but it seems really sharp, and the anodizing is interesting. It's a gimmick, though, because most people don't wait for their knife to "tell" them when to wash it! The grind it weird, too, but it seems to work. Ultralight, so if you like kitchen knives with mass, then forget it, because this thing weighs less than your lightest paring knife, probably.
