Are Tru-Bal knives worth it?

I ordered a catalog from them months ago and finally got it the other day. The knives look pretty awesome but they're kind of expensive. Do you guys find that they're worth it? Are there other comperable knives out there for less?

Kinda expensive to what? A thin piece of steel that you can bend with your hand. Buy a Tru Bal and you will pass it on to your kids.
