Here is the small sebenza I recently got.....I re-bead blasted the whole knife back to new and anodized it blue. The large sebenza below it is not quite bead blast color as it has the tactan coating on it we do in our shop, but you can see the blue of the small.

IF PICTURE DOESNT SHOW, RIGHT CLICK ON PICTURE AND HIT "SHOW PICTURE" TO SEE IT..

I haven't had much luck with thumbnails hyperlinked to Photopoint; perhaps this is an indication that Sparkimus Maximus hasn't gotten all the bugs out of the photo software.

To see the picture, click on 'properties' after right clicking on the picture, then cut and paste the URL. The knife turned out very well. I am surprised that the interference color turned out so bright, considering the light scattering effect of the bead blasting. Nice job!

Hmmm...I wonder if you could do an all black one. Including the blade and hardware?? (laughing, ducking, running for cover) Walt

black is not a color that can be made through anodizing......its not invented yet. However, we can make it a very very dark purple ;)

I have had a lot of trouble with links and Photopoint since they folded and were reborn. I will e-mail you the link, Bandityo. Walt

So now for the question I hope I'm not the only one waiting to have answered...

How much to do this to one of mine?

Not sure if I'd do it or not but I'd love to know it's an option.

ME TOO!

Bandityo -- I too would appreciate learning the answers to the two above questions, please. If you're uncomfortable posting the price, e-mail would be fine.

I can do gold, bronze, light violet, purple, dark purple, blue, and on good occasions...green...but thats the hardest to do.

Anyways, I will re-finish your knife (get out the scratches) and anodize both scales for $25. I dont know if the clip is titanium, but if it is....I will refinish and anodize that the same color or another color included.

Remember, that its still the same titanium finish as original, just a different color. So it will still scratch and get character marks as if new.

Don't have a Sebenza, YET! but I think I mite
soon (Please.Please..please :) ) anyway I just wondered if
you would still do this, and still for the $25, just kind
of makes a differents on weather I really want a Woody (Wood Inlay)
or not! thanks

Thanks so much Atrick_Pay for bringing this back to the top. I'd totally forgotten about it. Gotta go for it soon. Glad I didn't get a G2 sheath yet. Will need to think in terms of color combinations.

OK.....Im still anodizing sebbies. I can get a good gold, blue, purple color as shown..some days green...but thats rare.

Still same price, $25 plus $4 shipping and this will include refinishing the slabs back to new before I anodize. Remember, anodization will scratch off just like the bead finish will from stock (character marks). But repeat customers who want a touch up will get a deep discount :)

I am moving this week and can take more knives around the 2nd week of September.
