Associate shoulder harness for Busse #9

Has anyone experienced this system with a Busse Basic #9?
The #9 is a big knife and I'm curious as to how well it would ride in such a rig.
I understand the sheath I got with the knife is used so if I bought one would it be sent to me or would it have to be fitted at the JSP shop?Any info or advice will be appreciated.Thank you.

I own quite a bit of Blade Rigger gear, and I'd advise that if you want a sheath made for your knife, you send it to James.

I'm a farily big guy by some standards (6'5" 300#), and I don't think I could conceal a 9" blade in a shoulder harness and still be able to stand up and sit down comfortably. Might I respectfully suggest an SB3 rig instead? I can carry very long knives (12" blades) and still have a full range of motion. Quick access too.

I agree with W.E..I have talked to james about this in the past and he recommends that unless you are over 6'6" that you should go with the SB3.I would have James make the sheath as he knows best the requirements for the type of system.James does great sheath work.I will be getting a Jashido 2 with SB3 system before Xmas( i hope )and will let you know what i think when it gets here.

Scott,go the www.bladerigger.com and look undercarry systems (SCP)and you can also find out some info on the type of sheath required for this set-up.Let me know if you need anything else.
