Just got a PE Atlantic Salt, as I wanted to try H-1 and have always liked the look of the Rescue series.
Out of the box, the grind lines of the blade are a bit rough and the knife feels more blade heavy than other the zytel Spydies. Opening and closing is smooth but not as crisp as the G-10 Spydies I've held. The large Spyderhole, the thumb and choil serrations work very well.
I've cut cardboard, tape, rubber, and whittle some cherry wood and the Salt reminds me of the ATS-55 Standard. With gloves, I find the handle of the Salt a bit thin, so aligning the edge takes a bit more conscious effort
There is the 'normal' vertical play but there's also some lateral flex. However, I've noticed a paper thin gap between the zytel and the metal parts. Overall, I'd like the Salt to be a bit longer overall or in a thicker, G-10 version. I'd also like to see the Spyderco trainers in H-1.
