Why is the ATR Titanium ~ C70TI discontinued?
Please let me know.
Thank you,

Read somewhere that it was not cost effective. Too hard to built. Should have been around 500.00$, wich is not Spyderco's range...

though the SS is still around the Ti ATR is dico'd IIRC, too bad a great knife, i have 2 PE Ti's and 1 SS SE, the F&F on the Ti is 2nd to none imho, its my favorite production knife FWIW and i edc it almost every day, grab one if ya get a chance imho.

did she say what kind?? i know on the SS ones the early models had detent problems and they "improved" (there word not mine) the design, i would think with the excellent F&F, Ti and S30V, they got too expensive i guess, a very nice knife though, i edc either the Ti ATR, a pat crawford perfigo or a emerson specwar CQC8, not bad company for a spyderco imho.

i really really like mine, not 1 thing to complain about for me.

I thought it had something to do with the fact that they cost like $900 or something...

Believe me, when I first saw one, I wanted it dearly. When I found out how much it cost, I was like, "Hoo-kay... I can manage to live without that!"

they were available for about $200, i traded a emerson commander for 1 of mine, for the F&F and the quality components the price wasnt bad at all imho, just a higher end spyderco, certainly not $900 lol.
