ATS-34 Fang Question?

I purchasedan ATS-34 Fanf Neck Knife from PV Knife a couple of years ago. It's not coated and marked ATS-34. At the time, PVK said that only 50 had been made. Does anyone know if this is true and if only 50 uncoated ATS-34 Fangs were ever produced?

If only 50 were made than we got nearly half of them a few months ago. I doubt that number is current.
