I`ve been plodding along on orders, and fighting a head cold. Also working on a special project I can`t discuss right now.

I'm ok. Been stressing about the job and messing with knives...sold a bunch so far with more to go. I'm keeping a core of them that get used a lot and swearing off buying too many more. By the way, really looking forward to the pass around knife!

Funny, I've been working like a maniac at the office and also selling some of my collection to whittle it down to a core few. If I've owned the knife for more than a few months and haven't used it, I know I should sell it. Also busy trying to figure out what to do when my apt lease is up.

Soooo John, how about a hint as to this secret project. Knife related? Give us a clue to distract us from the monotony of our day jobs!

The secret project is related to knifemaking, but not how anyone would suspect.

Hmmmm very cryptic. I have zero ideas. Hopefully you enlighten us all once the project concludes!

I've been.. trying to not spend money. Vacation in April, and I have quite a few new items I want coming up. Not on here as much as I used to be.

Very mysterious, John, I want to know now.

It's been about the same for me, work has been busy, just a bunch of admin for the classes. Although while I about sold all my folders off last year but I've been looking for some thing new to add to my collection.

Been working and taking care of my kids. Busy, busy. Also planning a 5 day rafting and steelhead fishing trip for the Grande Ronde River starting next Thursday! WOOOHOOO!

Did you get a new drill press, John?

Special project guess: Tactical hawk, collaboration with someone...tactical...

Have a fun trip, and take pictures. No drill press, money is way too tight right now.

I've been checking in regularly to see what's new but believe it or not, I've been busy working.
Always remember, you may not see me but I'm here watching everything.:D

Returned to my job 1-2 weeks ago which kinda sucks, but I need the $. Somewhat good news is that I have an interview next week, but they aren't 100% sure if there will be a job opening in the next few months. Though the bad news is that job doesn't lead to many places, but maybe it will open doors with colleagues. Still drawing up my knife(dashi/pdk style), but not sure if I like it after doing it on graph paper. Thought about 1.25" stock, but I like it scaled down to 1". Guess I still have some time.

Working, kids, lada lada

I am going hunting tomorrow with my old boss and some mutual clients at my favorite hunt club. Really looking forward to that! I will strap on the Trapline but it won't see much use if any. I will have a few chances to show it off and peacock about the fact that I designed it though. :)

working, kids, and life here also. getting ready to hit the woods tomorrow with the belt hawk, spike hawk, and some other beastly blades. I'll post up some pics and a link to the the other thread once I get it all typed up and what not

I've been making trips to the hospital every day to visit my mother. She had surgery a few weeks ago and is slowly progressing. I normally work ten hour shifts with a reasonable amount of overtime so most days are work, get home shower, grab a bite to eat, visit Mom, and then back home to bed. Thanks to my smart phone I check in a couple of times each day to see what's going on but seldom post when on my phone. Hopefully my mother will return home next week and eventually recover. She's still facing treatments but her faith is strong and we all believe everything will be okay.

I hope your mother has a speedy recovery, fishiker.

I have been busy working. Yesterday I had meetings stretching from 9:00am, the last meeting was at 8:30pm.

In my spare time, my wife and I are working with a contractor and kitchen designer to remodel our 20 year old kitchen. It all started when she wanted new flooring; now we are moving walls!

Tomorrow I am going to visit a new gun store here in Peoria, which touts an indoor range. I hope to run a few hundred rounds through my new Kimber.

Hey Mack - I went with snakewood and three pins on the Cutlass - I think John said that will be the first knife in snakewood!
