B.Terzuola vs. MT Terzuola?

I just purchased a MT DA Terzuola and I'm very happy.

I was able to find a new machine ground stonewashed/plain edge model at what I believe was a very reasonable price.

I was just curious how the MT Terzuolas compare to the "official" Bob Terzuola ATCF folders.

In my opinion, the finish and function on the MT is absolutely beautiful for a production knife (even being the machine ground model!)... I was just wondering how much better it gets.

Anyone had/handled both and formed some opinions?

The MT version is a production knife that almost costs as much as the "real" custom version.

I could be wrong, but I don't think Terzuola makes an auto version of his ATCF.

I'm sorry I can't comment on his customs, as I've never seen one. But the MT version makes me wish I had a few extra hundered dollars lying around. I'll get one some day, but there's a few knives ahead of it in line.

Partially correct on the costs: The hand ground MT comes relativly close to the cost of the (yes, manual-only) B.Terzuola. $475+/- for the MT vs. $550+ for the B.Terzuola true custom.

I grabbed the machine ground which is substantially lower price tag. $360 new... IF you can find somone with one actually in stock, that is. They are getting thin right now. Lots of places advertising them online. Not many actually have them in stock when you call to order.
