BA3 black/snake original price?

Does anyone remember what a BA3 (black crinkle coat with snakeskin) went for new back when they came out? The PD came out at the same time in the same config and sold for $227. Any idea if the BA3 was the same price?
 
Thanks much! That's about what I was remembering, but I wasn't sure I was remembering right.
