Mike,
Wow! Haven't seen one for a long time. I am not sure the cost but good luck with it. I have had mine for years and love it.

hello again,

is this model so old that only one guy still has one?

or were they less than desirable? i always thought it was a cool little blade myself. but then again, i've had a cricket on my keychain since they were first introduced and a lot of folks don't like them.

to each his own,

mike

Mike, I think part of the answer is that "many" folks looking for a key ring knife are hesitant to pay the price for a Baby Goddard, Carbon Fiber Ladybug, or micarta Jester. The other part may just be that those who did purchase them tended to be people who were looking for a high quality knife for their key ring, so a lower than normal percentage got tucked away a drawer, only to be resold later. You bought a really nice, well made, little knife. You paid a reasonable price for it. I think, once you get your hands on it, you'll appreciate its quality and usability. If not, I would venture to say you can recoup youir investment fairly easily.
