Again and again I have heard that having matched sets of good knives is key .
I am a man who has had to make do in his life and as a result felt effort and intelligent observation was the key .

Watchful ? For now I will be following your advice as to the possibility of this being a training plateau . It seems like good observation on your part as well as some foreknowledge in the old training department .

In truth I like matched sets . I had a very good set that got borrowed .
I have my S:K:S: bayonets that I enjoy throwing a great deal . They have a narrow range within which they will stick but when they do they plant themselves deep .

I will get another good (read great ) matched set when I can afford them . Until then I will stick to shorter distances and as close as I can get to good matched throwers .

I didn't knew u threw hand-made sets. I thought u throw like CS sets and hand made knives during your free time

I feel that a match set is the key for a sucessful throw. If every piece of knife has different balance, different mass, you will have a hard time adapting to every single piece and recognising each piece's characteristics.

Getting matched set makes life easier as you only need to adapt to one characteristic.
