bader grinder/baldor buffer

I would have to think long and hard before I bought this grinder. First of all, you have no idea what condition the wheels and bearings are in. Second, it is only a 1 hp motor, not big enough and I am sure this is mistake but it list it as a 2X36 belt.

A person would be money ahead in the short and long haul if they were to buy a KMG grinder for Rob Frink. It is a nice buffer that goes with it but you can make a nice buffer with a motor and some pillow block bearings.

I think the listed belt length of 36" is a mistake also. Price sure seems high to me.

A bit too much $$ for the model. That's a Bader 2, no ? You can get a brand new Bader 3 1 hp w/ 8" wheel and platen for like $1095. The Baldor buffer goes for like $175. no ? Seems to costly for the items. If it were say $700. for the lot I would say that was a decent deal....RDT
