I have been bugging Bill to take pics of knives that he has completed especially ones leaveing the country

So he was kind enough to do so on this very nice Ebony handled HB that is on it's way to Spain

On another note I am very excited Bill has asked me to do a Buffalo (American Bison) hunt with him in Dec. Useing one of his Sharps Rifles

I have done alot of hunting but this is all new to me and I am thrilled to get a chance to do some classic Buffalo shooting and spend sometime with him and his wife.

Hopefully he will fire up the forge and I can get some good pics of the whole trip

Thanks for looking

Joe, getting to spend time with Bill and Sidra is definately time well spent they are salt of the earth people. If you can swing it have Sidra feed you some of here shrimp etouffe (sp) it will definately ruin your apetite...........at least the third bowl ruined mine.

Thanks for posting fresh Bagwell content Joe! That hunting trip sounds like it will be a blast;)

more beauties Joe these more recent Hell's Belles and damascus bowies seem to have a more like firer quality about them. I don't know if it would be right to say that they look as if they have few layers and to be honest. I adore the look of them :D. Why does damascus have to be soooo beautiful :P.

That's a fantastic trip there Joe. I've really been hunting as there isn't much to hunt or there isn't much your allowed to hunt over here in Northern Ireland :P.

I'm hoping it the next two years I can get over to the beautiful USA and see Bill. Would love to meet him. I'm trying to save at the moment in between purchases :D plus I wanna get over and get some more bootd; they're hard to come by over here. :D

Thanks for posting the pictures Joe, and for encouraging Mr. Bagwell to take pics. As a newer knife enthusiast his knives had kind of flown under my radar, so it's nice to see some of his amazing work documented.

I have yet to see a Bagwell that is not the perfect combination of grace and menace. Something about the blade length and blade height that he achieves make them look perfectly balanced.

Thanks for posting those - I always love seeing Bill's work. The pattern of that Damascus is gorgeous. Congratulations on the hunt with Bill.

Thanks, Joe, always a pleasure seeing Bagwell eye candy!
Congrats and best luck on your upcoming hunt!

You deserve every minute of it, Joe. It's truly a pleasure to spend time with you. Now, you better bring back lots of pictures or I'll take it all back.

By the way, considering Bill's appreciation of Spanish knives, that knife must've been built with so much in mind. The one going to California would fulfill all my knife dreams.

Thank you for the pics, marvelous the bagwell bowies:eek:
a wish in italian for the next hunting: in bocca al lupo!

WOW That damascus is incredible. Both knives are typically impressive. Congratulations of the upcoming hunt.

I would imagine it must be a guided trip with heavy equipent to pack out the game? I used to do a fair amount of shooting but never any real hunting. I couldn't imagine skinning a bison!
