Bali not a gravity knife in NYS!

Well, its nice to have that cleared up.
On the other hand the only reason why it wasn't considered a gravity knife is that the latch has to be closed manually to lock the knife open. The implication of that is that if a balisong automatically locked open, it WOULD be a gravity knife- defined as a knife that uses gravity and/or centrifugal force to open.
Which a balisong doesn't.
Someday I hope there is a rational and intelligent judge who makes this ruling.
