Hi,

First post. Darrel Ralph is a friend of mine, and he gave me a handle from one of his Gemini Balisongs that he wasn't going to use. I put a split ring in the end & now have a Kubotan keyring / constant Gemini teaser!

First of all, the picture has to be somewhere on the internet

and I can't get my second point to work :(
 
you have to put "[ img ] http://www.yourlink.com [ /img ]" (omit the spaces) around the link or buy a gold membership and you can post it directly on the forum, without having to link it to a website.
 
Or you can email the pic to someone that has a Gold Membership, and have him post it for you.. I'll volunteer ;)

Wow that's pretty damn cool. I'd probably pay for one of those (although I'd rather have one for free). Thanks for posting.

it looks like the handles are blue... anodized?
does mr. ralph have lots of unuseable handles? he could sell them cheap as keyrings... :) i'd like to have one for sure. i might even concider getting some keys for it! ;)
 
Yes it is anodized...right before my eyes! Darrel does EVERYTHING "in house".
I have had a lot of people asking me about getting these. I do not want to violate Forum rules, so I'll just say this:

I am going to talk to Darrel tomorrow. I will ask him if he wants people to contact him about these, and I will post his answer.

It IS really cool.

1st things first. I do not believe I am breaking forum rules. I am not selling these, Darrel Ralph is.

I talked to Darrel and he was pleased so many people were interested in Bali-handled kubotans. Here is the deal:

Darrel has some handles left over from the design process. There is nothing really wrong with these. They were "proof of concept" handles. These he will deburr, anodize, and sell with keyring attched. Now here is the important part; after these few, only handles with small imperfections will be made into Bali-handled kubotans. This means no-one knows how many will ultimately be available. Darrel says certainly no more than 40.

Each piece will be anodized, AND MARKED DDR! Price is $40.00 plus shipping.

Darrel also wanted me to explain that all kubotans are strictly 1st come, 1st served; and he cannot guarantee enough handles will be made for everyone who orders.

I am happy I was play a small part in making this possible. :cool:
