Batonlite???

I have one and I like it. I use it when I will be a close distances and don't want to burn Lithium batts in my E2.

That said, the E2 is more versatile.

I have one also and I like it. It's constructed well and puts out a decent amount of "up-close" light typical of LEDs. Any Surefire or conventional Streamlight will be brighter.

A very handy design, but the batteries ("N" cells?) are another odd-ball to keep around. I'm thinking of getting an Inova 5T to replace mine back stage, as the ARC LS is almost too bright.

Hi Bagman - must admit I looked at these too, as a lawful way of carrying a nice big thick lump of metal around...
The only thing that puts me off is the scarcity of the batteries. I don't own one, but my favourite would be the Nightbuster 8x

Hi Zardoz

I have just ordered one and 6 spare batteries (two sets) from the States and the bloke I emailed said he would ship it out today. Hopefully I will find out in a few days.

BTW did you get my mail about your Ayoob arrival???

I hav ejust looked at the article on the 8X thing and it looks pretty good (as a club that is :D )

Guys, I own a NightBuster 8x and wrote a fairly extensive review, intending to post it. However, these lights are only sold through glow-bug.com and are being discontinued. So, I figured the review was not especially useful anymore and did not post it. If anyone is thinking of buying a Nightbuster on closeout and wants to know more, let me know.

I couldf not find the nightbuster 8x on their site yesterday only the 4x so it could be they have all gone??
