I've been looking for a small pouch to hold 4 AA batteries to feed my digital camera. I have a camera pouch that can hold 4 extra batteries, but sometimes it would be convenient to leave the camera pouch in the car and just slip some extra batteries in my pocket. I use rechargables, so just pocketing a 4-pack of alkalines wouldn't solve my problem. So far I haven't seen anything in stores or on the internet that would work.

Seems like with so many electronic devices in the world that live on AA's, someone would have come up with a convenient way to carry extras.

Any ideas?

How about getting a kydex sheath made for them? The batteries could slot in friction fit and the sheath could have a pocket/belt clip and/or holes for lanyard?

Just a thought....

if you grab a package of 4 AA Energizer E2, you get a nifty little holder for 4AAs. Its a small plastic thing...

you might get it with the larger packs, but never bough bigger than 4 AAs. used rechargeables for my radio(motorola 2-way) this summer, and E2s for my mini-mag... not gonna count how many of those little packs I threw. came home with 2 of them in my breifcase with spares.

one of which is a bracket intended to hold 4 AA batteries with the wires to attach to whatever you're trying to power. Well, you could always remove the wires and springs off or... you could leave them on...
