Bayonet 2000

Hi Folks.

I'm interested in obtaining a bayonet 2000 (originally chosen by USMC before the "buy American" politics kicked in).

I've searched the web and found a few places but the price range is so extreme ($90 - $350) it makes me wonder about the authenticity?

Any ideas? Any thoughts on this bayonet? Anyone have one and have comments?

I have one, with the wire cutter. I bought it from what I thought was the only US source. What would you like to know about it? I bought mine to compare to the new Marines Bayonet, as I heard that the Bayonet 2000 was to be the Marines Bayonet, until US makers raised a fuss.

I just learned the Eickhorn-Solingen story and ordered both the Bayonet 2000 with and without the cutter. I also just received my Ontario to compare as well. Your thoughts on the two?
