Beadblasted RC-4

Well, the husband and his friend got a wild hair and beadblasted their RC-4s at work.

They are beautiful:

We were amazed to discover how wonderfully the logo and such still showed up:

FYI: yes, the husband is well versed in the care of the naked steel... no problems.

The friend used his this weekend to clean his first buck of the season... hair popping sharp start to finish.

very cool......not a fan of bead-blasted carbon steel but if you don't mind the extra maintenance i say why the hell not.

Looks good to me. I've always liked a bead blast finish more so than a satin finish.
