There are more indepth reviews in the Camillus forum if you need details.

I went to a family reunion out at the lake this past weekend, and took my BK9 with me just incase I got the chance to use it. I did. saturday night, we went to roast smoe marshmellows and I sent my cousins out to collect the wood. They brought about 3-5 dead limbs average size that needed to be cut to fit in the pit. I sent one of them into my goodie bag to get the knife with the green sheath. He comes back with mouth-a-gape asking where I got this awsome knife.
His father promptly removes it from his possession and made short order of the wood and starts asking where he could get such a knife.

Lary drives a truck and has need for a knife such as this from time to time. Cutting straps, busting up pallats and what have ya. Being a truck driver, Larry is a BIG man. Seeing him swing that knife and the chips flying all over the place was impressive. He was going thru 3-5 inch logs with 3-4 strokes. (there was allot of force behind those swings) He was impressed as were all the men on that side of the family. They did not think that us city folk knew how to purchase a "user"knife.

as a side note, the nine inch blade makes a good fire poker as well. It keeps the hands far enough away from the heat and flames and the black coating is still intact. It did not melt away.
