First, could someone clarify its blade length once and for all? The Camillus website lists 5.25". However, online distributors measure it anywhere from 4.5" to 5-1/8"; several comments/reviews on BF have also used these numbers. So, what is its actual length from tip to handle?
Second, how would you rate its cutting/slicing ability? We know that the blade is plenty tough; however, lets put aside chopping for a moment. How well does the Campanion perform more routine chores (e.g., food prep, whittling marshmallow sticks or tent stakes) compared to other 4.5"-5" blades youve used? (And please identify those knives!)
Finally, the 0170-6C appears to keep its edge for a long time. How well does it respond to re-sharpening? As compared to what?
Thanks!
Glen
