Keep posting then. I can't design crap, I can sketch my sheath ideas, but knives, well I suck.

Tell you what, draw me up a BK2 with a 3" blade, Micarta handle, with a divot for a bow drill. I got a Tops XCEST yesterday, and I would love it if I could see a BK2 style blade with the same setup.

3/16", sabre grind, 3" blade, micarta handle with a divot for bow drills, slight raised jimping, and an extended tang.

Whatchoo got now?

SilentJohn, any type of sizes or dimensions on the work horse ??? I can see a lot of possibilities with this . . .
Be safe.
(#23) Home Stretch . . . :)

Very cool. I like it.

45 degree on the forward tip, to avoid strikes

top side should have a curve where the two levels meet, to avoid snags

saw ;)

laser level and/or sight :)

Saw running the length of the blade spine.
Nail pulling notch at the chisel end.
Super secret spy decoder under the grips.

if you guys really want to see it with the saw i will do it but from what i have heard a lot of people say that a saw on a knife is a bad idea

i did the curve and 45 degree angle for you bladite and i did the nail notch for you dingo. i also extended the blade about 1 1/2 inches to really set it apart from the tactool

The transition on the spine still looks like it would be a problem. How about from the upper portion where it is now angled down to the bottom of the thumb ramp?

now that's a Pecker Wrecker :)

Spilt the milk? Split ;)

would be neat if the first 3-4 inches of blade near the handle had a more scandi grind maybe? like certain WSK models. good for the whittling.

looks good :)

the BK-OMEGA-9!

here the knife moose wanted sorry if the pic is crappy, bk2 witch thumb ramp and a 3 inch blade with micarta scales and a bow drivit hole

What if the MaTac had a bit longer handle? Hand and a half sort of thing. Something short enough to use one handed, but you could get two other fingers in there as well.
I like the idea of the scandi grind up near the handle as well, maybe 5" worth, or so. Round off the spine towards the last half, so it's nice as a draw knife.
What's the thickness of this beast?

The MaTact with modified hand 1/2 handle scandi and rounded spine on the back half
