I just received my Campanion also, and am in awe of it! To think that such a chunk of metal could come shaving sharp from the box is incredible.One question: Is the plastic buckle on the belt loop just to attach to web gear,etc? That's all I could think of. Thanks!

Alan,
You are correct. To be more specific, that 'buckle' is designed and put on as a accesory from EDGEWORKS, the sheath makers. It is for an additional " Jump Sheath/Thigh Sheath" attachment, avialible directly from EDGWORKS at a modest price. Very handy if you are jumping out of aircraft, or wearing body armor and running through crack houses.

Edge Works website is at www.tacticalholsters.com . The website and the commerce sections are on different servers and at this time the commerce server is bugging on the order page. With this in mind Scott suggested I make you an offer.
If you paste a link to this thread in an e-mail to Bruce at edgeworks@tacticalholsters.com , and provide a shipping address, Edge Works will send you a Jump-Kit for the Camillus sheath free of charge.
In the mean time we will fix the html on the commerce server and you can let everyone know exactly what the Jump-Kit is and how it functions.

The Edge Works commerce sight seems to be up and running again. As soon as we can we will post pictures of the Jump Kit, installed on a sheath.

Talked with Bruce at EW and he assured me that the Jump Kit will be on its way soon. Expect a confirmation e-mail.

RadarMan, I hope and pray that my days of busting into ANY kind of houses are long over! I finished my "twenty-five"(years service) this past Sunday, and my svelte frame seems more suited to holding up a desk than swinging a ram these days! Thanks for all!
