Been watching the HD on ebay?

Saw that. One comment: THAT'S JUST CRAZY!!!!

If HDs went for that all the time I might be tempted to sell of mine.

If you look at the bid history, you'll see that two people want it bad.

To pay for part of a rifle (Winchester 70s won't be made again in the U.S.), I sold one just like it the other day for quite a bit less.

Wishing I'd eBay'ed now. :(

As for my other HD, it's getting some pants made right now. Soon, it will be out in the wild on my hip.

Get them while their cheap everyone. In a year they'll be going for around $500.00 or more.

All this buzz about the Heavy Duty has landed one in my lap for 225.seems like a good deal. tan/tan.ya'll didn't really think i would pay $275.....did ye ?

They're worth what you pay as long as you're happy.

I blame Winchester for my tan/tan relinquishment. Been thinking about getting a new Winchester Model 70 for about three years now. Then, U.S. Repeating Arms (makers of the Win 70) decide to go out of business. Had to jump while the jumping was good, and the HD funds came in handy. When I posted mine, the eBay HD was at $225 and so that's what I asked.

My black/black, on the other hand, is getting some pants. Can't wait to try that one out. It ain't goin' nowhere.

Just realized you won the eBay knife. Man, I've paid more than other folks on some eBay auctions myself, but the main thing for me was that I was comfortable paying the price. Sometimes, it's worth waiting. Sometimes though, I'd rather pay a little more and not have to expend the time and energy searching for a cheaper deal.

jjratelle2, if you're planning to use that HD, you'll get every penny's worth and more.

Edited to add: I see there's a "Buy It Now" tan/tan listed for $275 right now. Be interesting to see if anyone snaps it up.
 
hmm... I could whip out the "No Regrets" mantra ...

I just received it, and as sick as it sounds, I keep going back to look at it every 15 mintues. I swear this tiny bundle of INFI feels heavier than either my russell 1965 or the rat 7.
