Benchmade Auto Benchmite 3100

Just saw the new auto Benchmite at Benchmade.com. I forgot this thing was due! It looks really sweet and I can't wait to get one. I just wonder why it's stainless steel and not titanium like the original.

I actually haven't seen that one. But then, maybe I wasn't really looking, because I'm not really too fond of the Benchmite. A bit too little for my taste. But I'll look into it; thanks for the info.

I read in the Benchmade forums that they used stainless instead of titanium to make the release stiffer in order to prevent accidental openings.

I'm looking forward to getting one too.
