i cannot speak but in the highest terms of the Kulgera.
(not my knife)
the blade shape is perfect for EDC, with a nice sharp (but not too fragile) point and a subtle, functional recurve on the blade that is not so radical so as to pose problems sharpening. of course the axis lock is pretty much bomb proof and the s30v is a great steel to put a thin edge on.
the physical dimensions of the 930 are also perfect for EDC. it weighs in at just 3 oz and the 3.5 in blade is an ideal size for EDC tasks. the knife also has a nice slim handle and a blade-to-handle ratio that is nearly 1-to-1. so, the Kulgera is a very economic package when it comes to assessing size vs functionality.
the styling is sleek and distinctive and the partial scales actually serve a function in allowing your hand to really dig into the liners when you need an extra firm grip. the G10 is layers, black and blue but the blue is subdued enough that it doesn't look over the top. the knife is otherwise finished superbly with many nice little details. pretty nifty for a production folder!
my only minor criticism of the knife its lack of functional jimping. this is not a true failing in my opinion as the knife is essentially a medium use knife anyway. for such tasks, the inherently solid geometry of the handle and the spine of the blade make jimping unnecessary.
for the record, the 930 replaced my (nearly) decade-old 710HSS as my primary EDC. the 710 was (and still is) my favorite folder but it has its negatives when it comes to EDC. considering all the tasks that i've asked the 710 to do (and NOT asked it to do!), the 930 will be more than up to the job and is much less of a pocket-full.
that's my take
