Benchstones

Does anyone know how thick are the benchstones? I know they are 8 X 2

I can measure when I get home if nobody has a number for you by then. Looking at a ruler here, I'd guess they're about a centimeter thick.

Thanks, if they are about a cm thick, it's less than half an inch. I was hoping that I can use them for the EZESharp, but looks like they are not thick enough for that.

I just checked a couple of mine and they are right at 1/2" thick.

on the swamprat forum there is a guy that uses the spyderco stones with the ezesharp with good results...the frames just don't overlap the entire stone.
