Best bronze for fittings?

Guys,

What kind of bronze would you recommend for fittings? I would typically cast and then cold work. I want something nice looking, a warm, darkish golden, that will patinate well - not brass.

Red brass has the qualities you've mentioned. Try Alaskan Copper and Brass on Sixth Avenue South, and see what they have.
