You poor thing, still paying 99 cents a song. www.allofmp3.com It's a Russian site, but don't let that scare you. You can get most CDs for about $2.50. The downloads are pretty fast too, and I haven't had one fail yet.

at 2-10 cents a song do you think the artists or writers are getting paid?

it is stealing intellectual property to download stuff that does not properly compensate the producers of the work unless they give their permission to do so

There are a lot of bands that you've never heard of. . but a few big names, too. All artists have given their permission for the free distribution of this music, so no one is getting ripped off.
