I'm sure this has been asked and answered before, but I couldn't find a thread. I have a BATAC LE with tigerhide micarta handles. I really like the way the tigerhide looks when I've seen it oiled on other knives. What is the best way to do this? Best oil? Thanks!

+1 for the mineral oil. non toxic and if you dont like it it comes right off with a little soap and warm water!!

Mineral oil on a paper towel is the way I roll.

Another thing you can do is if you have a shoe polish brush, with brown polish, just give a light brushing/buff on the handle. Makes it shiny, and the shoe polish does not seem to make the handles slippery. Feels grippy to me. Also seems to stay on, and I have not noticed it rubbing off on clothes or hands etc.
(you can use black on black handles, brown on brown/tan ones, and they even sell red/oxblood/burgundy polish, if you want to try the look on something.

I've used S100, a motorcycle cleaner/wax. Sprayed it on, wiped it in with an cloth and did the shoe brush polish. The handles shine like crazy and are not slippery.
