Better Benchmade handles?

When I was reading the description for the new model 31, I noticed BM said that they will be using a new titanium casting procedure for the handles. I was curious if any of you guys know if this is to eliminate the issue of the pits in the titanium which was brought up awhile back, and if so will this new procedure be integrated into the 42, 43, and 47 models down the road as well?
 
My guess would be that it could be something as simple as the new handle length. Or that the recess for the clip is cast in place, and that portion can be migrated over to the 4X series. Just their way of getting rid of an ineffective sheath.
 
....no...I won't say it....Benchmade is making us so happy right now I will not say what I'm thinking about the new sheaths :rolleyes: !

I believe Dawkins has some. Ask Gary himself, he made them. Of course I haven't seen Gary in the bali forum for a while.
 
I haven't tried them but I did order one for the left and one for the right today. Thanks for the info.
