What's not to like about this Bowie? Great stag, fit and finish second to none and a wonderful design. This blade has much more substance and heft than I thought it would. Quite the piece gentlemen. Thanks to all, especially the makers for making a wonderful and memorable piece. Let's do it again in 2008!
 
I told Kevin how to handle the drawing and he flunked lunch. :confused:

When he was handed the winning ticket to, all he had to was say "Peter Gill is the winner" and toss the ticket back into the bowl.
I hope that he doesn't muck it up again next year. ;) Seriously congratz Michael T. :thumbup:

Glad you are pleased with it Michael.

I inspected it quickly at Blade as there was so much going on. Really got a closer look at Jerry's and it's an amazing piece to say the least.

I will say that I am surprised that nobody has started a thread debating whether this is actually a $7K+ knife or merely a $20 knife:D All kidding aside, congratulations, Mike. Great knife and a great cause. Well done, everyone:thumbup:
 
Here are a few pictures of the knife that may be of interest..... From a block of W2 laying on Jerry's anvil, to Jerry forging the blade, to a cake by Kim Rodgers, that we enjoyed Friday night before the drawing, to the finished knife. Hopefully I'll get the photos posted in the right order.........:)
