This is a fairly large gentlemans folder. It is 8" long over all. The blade is
3 1/2" The blade, locking bar and spring housing are all made of CPMT440V
and are mirror polished. (this steel is difficult to get a good polish on).
The liners are made of titanium and are fileworked all around the knife.
The bolsters are made from Eggerling damascus and the ivory scales
have been scrimshawed by Fred Harrington with scrollwork which matches
the pattern coming out of the bolster. The edge of the scales have a band
of oak leaves. The knife has been fileworked inside and out and 10
different patterns were used. The titanium thumbstud has an opal
inlaid. $1,750
This one sold at the blade show. Thanks for alll the nice comments.
