I have ordered a Bill Maynard nech knife which is made of AST-34. Very well made and very happy with it. Bill can also make special Kydex sheaths for belt carry as well.

The blade shape of the Maynard's piece reminds me of the Crawford's Kasper Combat Folder. Have you ever handled the Kasper? If so, how do you compare the two? You said yours made in ATS 34, does he make it in any other steel? What's the handle made of? Micarta? G-10? Sorry I ask too much, but I always prefer a user view to factory specs
