Hello. This being my first post I guess I'm a FNG. As a KNUT I'll gloss myself as a KFNG. Before I just send Bill an e-mail I thought I would just ask you folks a question. I resently had the good fortune to purchase a couple of Bill's big (12.5") fighters. One of them has a full tang so it's pretty easy to see how it's put together, the other one has an ebony handle that is held in place with just one pin. I'm wondering if any of you know how Bill attatches this type of handle to the less than full tang? The full tang knife is allmost too pretty to use as a carry knife and I kind of like the balance of the other knife better anyway. I have no intention to use either knife to peel apples unless I absolutely have no choice. If you know what I mean.

I use a .75in tang and it runs about 3/4 of the way down into the handle material. 2 ton epoxy,a close fit, and that pin hold it all together.Could you get me a pic of the "ebony" knife? I don't recall ever using that wood before(I might be wrong but who knows). Go ahead and use 'em though that's why I make 'em
