Has anyone added an pouch onto the BK-2 sheath? This is the one "accessory" I would most like to add to keep a bit of kit with me.

I've looked at some Condor pouches, but probably just need to carry my knife around to different stores to see what might fit well.

If anyone has suggestions and even better pic's that would be a huge help.

I just added the Maxpedition Anemone Pouch to my BK-2 and here are some pic's of how it turned out. I still have the Barnacle on the way for my other BK-2. I will do a side by side once that one is done.

The folks on the ESEE forum have indicated that it's not a fit. I'm sure something will turn up that works well.

Didn't a Beckerhead do this? Pretty sure it's not a perfect fit but it can work. It's in a post somewhere in here.

With the ESEE 5/6 molleback/pouch setup, its not an exact fit, but its not far enough off that it won't work though. Depends on if you mod or not.

I have the ESEE5 SHEATH for my BK2, and for less than the price of the knife, you can have one too. Check around, they are out there.

I have a Spec Ops Survival Sheath winging its way to me via Nashville, and should be here soon. Probably be here sooner if I paid the guy for it, but, hey, he'll get his cash. Bigger pouch, same sheath otherwise.

Maxped, Blackhawk, Eagle Industies all make stuff you can make work, with a little "noggin" power. Just shop around and see.

Moose,

Your idea about the ESEE 5/6 set me on this path actually. I had the worst time just giving up on the stock BK-2 sheath and since my "mod talent" or lack thereof does not go very far I figured I'd see what kind of pouches I could rig-up. The good news is I can always attach these initial runs to my Condor backpack for extra storage. It's a win-win :D Thanks

Great job. I will really be interested in seeing some side-by-side shots when you get the Barnacle.

It left Texas today.

There pretty easy to make, you dont really need a heavy duty machine, just thick needles and good thread.

Sorry I don't sell them...

I modded my stock BK2 sheath and mounted the Esse pouch on it. Check out youtube, search BK2 sheath mod, that's where I got the idea. I also took off the cheap fabric belt loop and mounted a blade tech tech-loc. It works great. I'll have to borrow my wife's camera and take some pictures. The sheath now is quite nice!

Heres mine, it's just a Leatherman sheath attached to my BK-2 sheath with some paracord.

Charge TTi, Coarse and Fine Ceramic Rods, Leatherman Bit Kit, Allen Wrench, Capsule with Compressed Cotton Balls (about 13 or so in there), Misch Metal Fire Steel, and of course the dainty letter opener of a BK-2 :D
