The bk5 is about the only knife I've used since I recieved it. I go hiking and woods bumming almost everyday so it's seen a bit of use. Here are some pics.

Gotta rank it right up there with my Randall on the cool factor and fun to use scale.

Was starting all these fires for bushclassusa on bcusa, yall should check that out if ya like the whole outdoors thing.
ETA: Another pic.

Earning it's keep? I'd say so! Wow, looks like that things been eating up the forest. Sweet pics.
How long did it take to chop that tree down?

Tarred bankline. I'm not sure of the brand or size. I pick it up at my local fishing store. I believe walmart carries the same stuff.105 or

ETA: I believe it's the 105 or 115 lbs stuff.

You should have done that with a 10-11" thick tree to show up a certain Machax wielding someone.

Nah Oxide that's alright, that small tree was more than enough work.

Speaking of action, made a kinda shitty chair with it today. It worked well despite it's looks.

Damn! Someone has been busy in the woods! I haven't even taken my 5 outside yet. All she's pulled is kitchen duty, but she's definitely done a lot of that. Me and some buddies are hitting the hills next weekend and I think I'm inspired to take it along with me this time!!

Very nice! That's a sizable tree for a blade that size. Is the handle wrap for grip or to beef up the handle a bit?

Mikey> You'll be surprised at how well this knife will handle just about every task you can think of.

Jroden> It's just there to provide some extra cordage when needed.
