Hi, just got my new Ka-Bar BK7 and BK2...
while the blades are awesome and the handles are very well designed, I still find them a little too slippery...
This smooth material good use some scales or maybe paracord to give it a good grip.

Does anyone know about how to makes some new one or where to get some with a much improved grip?

Soon, there will be replacement micarta handles offered for them from KABAR. All you'll have to do is pop off the old ones and screw the new ones on.

I have the older Camillius BK&T C/U 7, truly a great knife.
I always felt the only thing it lacked was better handles.

Once these handles come out I'm definitely going to pick up a new Kabar C/U 7.

I had a buddy bead-blast a set of the standard scales for me. Lightened up the color a bit, but they are much grippier now.
