Black blade finish

Posted this question over on the MT forum and thought I would post here also. I have a LCC with the black finish. AWESOME KNIFE!!. Only problem I have is when I wiped the oil off of the blade. I wiped it down with acetone and then used Flitz. This left the blade streaky. Next I used paste wax. Again streaky. Understand, I have used this combonation many times before with good results. Benchmades look real good after this. Is oil the only way to acheive an "even" finish? BTW this LCC is as hair-popping sharp as the beadblast one. Any ideas would be 'ppreciated.
