Black Diamond?

Just looking at knifezilla, and I see this "Black Diamond". I've never seen these before, and I am wondering about how good it is.

A friend I got interested in balisongs, wants a really cheap bali. So I was wondering what type I should refer him to. Black Diamond, Jaguar, Bear, Rostfrei, or just a regular Filipino.

No hilts and horns. This is copy of 1980's Japan made Kamikaze balisong .. if you look for it in the Advanced Balisong Manual, you will see it..
 
I wondered the same thing awhile back. Got on here and asked around a little bit. It is a "Get what you pay for" kinda knife.

Flips good, locks up good but thats all. Finish sucks. Inserts if you want to call them that were "barely attached" with "little" if no rubber cement at all! Found this out on the third rotation. One of them went flying! The black coating chiped off in places on the first rotation. Bubbles in the coating were also present on the blade. Also had to sharpen it. Was it worth it? Shure its fun to play with.

The blade is pretty thin and flexes with latteral presshure. Made sharpining it kind of a pain.

Thank you all for the input. So jaguars look cool, one guy around here sells them at the farmers market for like 9 bucks....sounds pretty cool

Also wondering if there is such a thing as a bali-sword for under $50

Bali-Sword for under $50?? You'd probably hafta live in the Phillipines for that price.
