Not baby blue but American flag blue. It looks to me that with the red and white spacer material that this is waht he intended? Perhaps?
Either way it is a verry nice looking nife. One to be proud of.
THat is a sweet knife. Looks like it will just nestle in the hand. Love the spacers too. Do you have the rest of the specs on it for the uninitiated. Blade length, stock thickness, price and so on. Wonderfull looking design.
Don't worry about the shade of the Blue so much. I for one think it takes a Real Man to carry a Powder Puff Blue handled knife!!
Also, I bet if you took some high grade Spackle and Epoxy you could probably Fill In those holes so that you wouldn't hardly even notice they had been there!! LOL

Michael,
Now that I bought a scanner, I think I really need a digital camera:rolleys: You have mail regarding the other pictures, THANKS!!
Boriqua,
The NEW finalized pattern for these is 7 3/4" OAL with a 3 1/2" blade. The early ones varied slightly. I can shorten the handle by 1/4" for smaller hands.
Hillybillenigma,
Your method is for fixing holes in Mayos knives..... For mine, BONDO sticks well and sands easily

Those ARE scanner picts! My scanner always does better than the camera. You need to read the old James Mathis posts... to get the best from your scanner...
