Blade Centering in Blur?

I have an old Blur that I bought from a pawn shop. I had to disassemble it to clean the rust and gunk out. As a side effect, when I put the knife back together the blade was off center. It didn't bother me until I realized the blade was scraping the non locking scale. Will tightening the pivot screw help or will I have to disassemble the knife again?

Thanks,

My blur is pretty weird. The pivot screw does nothing. However if you mess with the pivot screw and apply pressure to the blade in the direction of where you would like it to hold, it somewhat works. Loc-tite applied to the pivot. It's still off center.

I doubt this is the norm though.

Just play around with the tension on the pivot/handle screws. The pocket clip screws also have an effect on blade centering. Towards what side is it rubbing?

This one helped me with lot of folders: (Sorry for bad language) loose all screws on your knife (not turn out, just a bit loose). Than use a piece of paper and put it between non-locking side and blade in such way that blade is very close to LOCKING side (yeah, thats a lot of paper. also you could use toothstick instead). Than tight handle screws and tight the pivot screw (in this way action of the folder must be a bit harder than "smooth ation"). Use to open and close folder 3-5 times. If blade-centering after this is ok - put again that piece of paper/toothstick and turn out pivot screw. Add some loctite, tight it until you get smooth action. Then one after another turn out handle screws, add loctite. Tight them (DO not turn out all the screws simultaneous, do it separatelly). Put away that paper.

I've used this on ZT0350, ZT400, Blur, JY Dog 1-2, and even Tilt. Sorry again for bad language.
