love the knife love the value of the s30v blade not so fond of the off center blade when closed. anyone else found this?

Its a toss up when buying production knives. 3 out of my 4 Spydies were off-centered. Still love them. Hoping I will have better luck with my PM2 sprints

Mine's slightly off center as well, not enough to matter or even come close rubbing the liner though.

Mine was slightly off center right out of the box, but it was an easy fix. All I did was adjust a couple of handle screws with a torx driver and the blade is perfectly centered when closed.

It's not that hard.

1. Slightly loosen the screws on both sides of the knife.
2. Evenly tighten all the screws.

If the blade is still off center, then repeat but this time, wedge something (folded piece of paper) between the blade and the liner to keep it canted to one side, tighten, and remove wedge. The thickness of the wedge will depend on just how much you want to push over and how much it moves back after you remove the wedge.

It takes a little experiment but it works most of the time. Just don't strip any of the screws.

My Manix 2 XL came off center too and, when I try to center it, it won’t quite completely center and it’s WAY too difficult to open & close. I’ve tried all the normal methods and, when it’s functional, the blade is still off center and the blade has left & right play when opened. I’m at a loss.
