Been getting some clips done here lately. Just got our power back on Thursday after the ice storm so that kind of threw things a bit from a downed tree.

I have recently seen a couple of these same style Blade Tech folders. I must admit I thought the first one I saw here was a custom job looking at how it was built chunky and figured it was done by someone that does what I do but I guess these are offerings from the factory.

Anyway, since I've never done a low rider for one of the Rijbak models I figured I'd post a shot or two of it. I think this clip I made up for it looks like it belongs there now.

I got the Rijbak in today. Beautiful work Steve. Thanks a million! Your clips work much better than the original.

Very good! Thanks for letting me know.

Enjoy my friend. I thought it came out pretty nice.

How tight does it fit now? IMO, the factory clip was as low as any factory offering, and it was tighter than ANY clip I've ever had period!

I am the second owner, so the clip I had was pretty worn out. It rode low but it wouldn't hold tight to the edge of my pocket at all. It may be different with a new one. I own several other Blade-techs, and while they build great knives, their clips leave something to be desired. Too shiny and flimsy in my opinion. Steve does great work.

Strange, at least for me as my clip was super tight. I bought mine when they first came out and they weren't being produced for long at all. Maybe the prev owner bent it the clip or loosened it or something.

Most folks don't like a super gripper so its probably one that someone pulled out to loosen the hold on. Problem is they can be taken too far making them too loose. The best place is a happy medium in the middle. That seems to be where most people like them grip wise. If the pocket clip holds tighter than a pair of suspender clips to where it pulls your pants up when you try to get your knife out its not only going to fray the pocket in record time usually but its also going to cause most folks to address it by hyper springing the clip back some so thats what I figure happened. Those knife kits clips do have some extra stout grip on them. A lot of the old ATR folders by Spyderco were sent to me for that super grab they had too.
